2.1 Information you provide to us

When you contact us through our website contact form, email us, or book a discovery call, we collect your name, email address, company name, and the content of your message. When you become a client, we also collect information necessary to deliver our services and manage our business relationship, such as billing details and project-related correspondence.

When you visit insight.im, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymised usage data including pages visited, time spent on the site, device type, and approximate location. This data is only collected if you consent via our cookie banner. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

  • Service providers who help us run our business: our email hosting provider (Krystal.io, UK), our website hosting provider (Vercel, US), our CRM provider (GoHighLevel, US), and Google Analytics (US). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate contractual safeguards.
  • Professional advisers: our accountants and legal advisers, where necessary.
  • Regulators and authorities: the Isle of Man Information Commissioner, HMRC, or the IoM Treasury, where required by law.
  • Subcontractors: trusted individuals who work with us to deliver our services, under appropriate contractual obligations including confidentiality and data protection terms.

5. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers are based in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the Isle of Man and EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including reliance on EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Specifically:

  • Enquiry data (contact form submissions): until the enquiry is resolved, then 12 months.
  • Client data: for the duration of our engagement, plus 6 years for legal and tax record-keeping purposes.
